Learning From Christ
Learning from Christ
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30

Equip Training

Each quarter, NRF hosts a “Equip Training” designed to help us grow in specific areas of our faith. Often over a weekend and led by a guest speaker, these times are intense walks through scripture, prayer, and practice to help us dive deeper into our faith. Recent trainings include:

-How to Share Your Faith (led by Gideons International Ministries)

-Listening to the Holy Spirit (led by Dr. Stuart Quartemont, Medical Missions International)

-Living a Bold Faith (led by Dr. Eliu Camacho Vasquez, The Barn Ministry)

Sermons

Pastor Jordan Secrist preaches expository sermons, diving into long passages of scripture (as the early Christians would read them) to understand unifying themes, teachings, and challenges for us to apply them to our lives.

You can listen to our sermons via Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you consume your fine podcast content (we’ve got a link to our most recent sermon below).

Personal Time in the Word

At New River Fellowship it is also our hope and aim that through the transformation God does in your heart, you would desire to dig into His Word. It’s part of our Membership Covenant that NRF members will seek to learn more about who God is & who He made us to be on a regular, ongoing basis outside of our large church gatherings.
